Dental implants are the most modern and advanced solution for replacing missing teeth, with the highest success rate.
At Ogodent use dental implants and bone additive products made by  Artis Bio Tech Company (Israel).

What are the dental implants?

Dental implants are screw-like devices made of high purity titanium, which is a perfectly biocompatible material that allows their osseointegration. Osseointegration is healing bone around the implant after its insertion.

The implants are inserted into the jaw bone or mandible, serving as artificial roots that further work will be carried prosthetic (artificial teeth).

If one tooth is missing:

If the adjacent teeth to the breach are healthy (have no cavities), is most desirable to use an implant then to polish them in order to create a bridge.

If several teeth are missing:

In case of we have left too few available teeth and there is no way to create a prosthetic works, for patients with partial or full denture, the implants are the best treatment solution in order to get rid of the conventional denture. In situations where there is little teeth that can not be fixed cemented work done in patients with partial dentures, implants are the ideal treatment to get rid of conventional dentures. They allow us to have additional poles that can be inserted wherever needed (if bone support is satisfactory) which will be the base for prosthetic devices.

A number of cases, that until recently used only movable and mobile solutions, today can take the advantages of fixed prosthetic devices due to dental implants and bone augmentation techniques.

Consultation to determine your treatment plan, making a panoramic radiograph, bone size evaluation.

If we discover an insufficient bone volume, in our clinic we can solve this issue using bone additive techniques.

  1. Implant insertion operation involves painless surgery that is performed with local anaesthesia.
  2. After 10 days from surgery suture wires are removed.
  3. Complete bone healing period varies between 3 and 6 months.
  4. After the bone is healed, the head of implant is discovered and mounts a healing cap that is designed to allow healing gum for 1 week.
  5. The abutment is mounted on the implant and the mark for artificial tooth (teeth) is taken.
  6. The execution of artificial teeth is taking between 2 – 3 weeks according to their complexity.

Implants can be placed at any age if the patient’s health and good dental hygiene is impeccable.

The prosthetic implant dispensary is required. Periodic inspections will be performed in the clinic as follows:

  1. First check-up of the work is done after one week from the last treatment.
  2. The next check-ups are made after one, three and seven months from the fitting and then annually.

Only this way an implant supported prosthetic restoration can work for a long time, avoiding some complications that may arise.
